1. If you’re over 280 characters, use an image.

If your message is too long for Twitter’s limit of 280 characters, use an image instead. You could take a screenshot of a note you wrote on your phone and post it on Twitter like this:


2. Create a string of tweets with a thread

If you don’t like taking a picture of your text and posting it, you can make a thread to get around Twitter’s character limit.

To create a thread, click the “tweet” button and then type some text. When you’re done writing your tweet, click the “+” button in the bottom right corner of the tweet box to write and stick another tweet.
