Apple iOS 14.5 is here with new Privacy features and more

Apple begins started rolling out the most privacy-focused iOS 14.5 update__ hated by Facebook to all its iPhone users. As promised the new update includes the App Tracking Transparency feature, the ability to unlock your iPhone with your apple watch and change Siri’s voice, and more. How to use iOS 14.5’s new app tracking blocker

The new app Tracking blocker on iOS 14.5 will block apps to track you on your iPhone. Not only within the app, but the feature will also block track access to outside of the app. when you install a new app, you won’t have to do anything; you’ll be automatically asked whether you want the new app to track you.

You can also manually disable which apps are tracking by going to settings and then Tracking. you’ll now see a list of specific apps that have asked for that permission. You can disapprove of approval based on your privacy preference.

How to unlock your iOS 14.5 iPhone with your Apple Watch

Along with a new privacy feature, Apple also rolled out a new feature that lets you unlock your iPhone with your apple watch. If you’re wearing a mask, you can able to Bypass facial recognition and unlock it with your apple watch. To enable this feature you can go to settings and then Face ID & Passcode and then the new Unlock With Apple Watch option and now toggle it on.

How to change Siri’s voice in iOS 14.5

With the new iOS 14.5, Apple is letting users change the default Siri voice on their iPhone, and also when you get a new phone, you’ll be prompted to pick a default voice for Siri.

To change voice, you can go to settings and then to Siri & Search, and tap Siri Voice. There, you’ll be presented with a list of options.
