Finally, Instagram has started rolling out a new Feature most people are waiting for. It is called finally that lets you to delete a single photo out of multiple photos on Instagram post carousel.
Instagram head Adam Mosseri says this is the most requested feature from the users and it’s here.
To delete a single photo from multiple photos in Instagram, tap on the three-dot icon on top of the post and tap on edit, and then choose the photo you want to delete from the carousel and tap on the delete button at the top left corner.
As Instagram head Adam Mosseri points out, it was challenging to delete a single photo from an Instagram carousel. We’ll have to delete the entire post and re-upload the images. But now, with the final feature, you can select photos from the Instagram carousel and delete them individually.

- Open Instagram on your smartphone
- Go to the post you want to delete photo
- Click on three-dot menu on the top
- Now click on edit photo
- Now select the photos and click on the delete button on the top left corner.
- That’s it. You have successfully deleted photos on your Instagram carousel posts.
