How to set up your new Android T.V

The android ecosystem is getting better. Now it is integrated with new Televisions that are coming out. If you brought a new Android T.V and confused about setup don’t worry. Here is How to set up your new Android T.V. Follow these simple steps to get started.

Step 1: Connect your Android TV

If Android TV is built into your TV, plug it into an outlet and turn it on, then skip to Step 2.If you have a separate Android TV device, you’ll need to connect it to your TV monitor:

1. Turn off your TV or monitor.
2. Connect your Android TV device to your TV or monitor with the HDMI cable.
3. Plug your Android TV device into an outlet.

Step 2: Pair your remote

1. Turn on your TV or monitor.
2. To select the right input for your Android TV device, press the Source or Input. You should find an image of a TV, a remote, and a timer. 
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to pair your remote. 

When the remote connects to the TV, you’ll see a check mark on the screen. If it doesn’t connect right away, try Step 3 again.

Step 3: Set up your Android TV

There are 3 options to set up your TV:

• Quick Start using an Android phone 
• Set up with your remote
• Set up with a phone or computer

Set up with Quick Start

1. When your TV says, “Quickly set up your TV with your Android phone?” use your remote to choose to Continue or Yes.
2. If you don’t have an Android phone, select one of the other setup options below.
3. On your Android phone, open the pre-installed Google app.
4. Type or say “set up my device.”
5. Follow the instructions on your phone until you see a code. Make sure the same code shows up on your TV.
6. On your phone, tap the name of your TV when it shows up.
7. To finish setup, follow the instructions on your TV.​
