Instagram is rolling out a new update to its app that will enable users in the United States (coming to other countries soon) to tag products in their posts without having a business account.

To begin tagging a product, create a post as usual. Proceed to the next page and use the “Tag People” option to tag the brand of the products in your post.

You’ll see “Tag products” from here, where you can tap the product in your photo or video and then search for that brand’s product to add a tag.

Other users will see the product tags in your post and will be able to tap them to make a purchase.

According to Meta spokesperson Anne Yeh, influencers will not earn a commission on purchases made via product tags, but the platform is currently testing an affiliate program with select creators that will allow them to earn a commission on tagged products.

And also When someone tags one of their products, business owners will receive an email notification, and they will also be able to view all tagged content on their profile.

By granting everyone access to this feature, this new edition of features bolsters meta’s focus on transforming Instagram into social commerce and product discovery platform.

As I said before if you live outside the US it might take a couple of weeks to use this feature. So, this is how you can tag Products on Instagram posts. If you have any suggestions you can suggest us at vinron.in/suggestions. For more helpful guides you can click the links below.
