Several reports yesterday claimed that user data for Paytm Mall had been hacked and the hackers were demanding a ransom. Today Paytm confirmed that they have not found any security lapses or hints of a possible hack or data breach, which may have compromised the user data.

“We would like to assure that all user, as well as company data, is completely safe and secure. We invest heavily in our data security, as you would expect. We have been investigating the claims of a possible hack and data breach, and haven’t found any security lapses yet,” says a Paytm spokesperson shared by news 18.
