YouTube vanced lets you hide YouTube shorts and sponsored content on YouTube Videos

You might probably have heard about YouTube vanced , a modded version of YouTube that is very popular on Android. It comes with built-in adblocking, background playback without YouTube Premium, black/dark themes, and much more. While I am playing with some settings I found YouTube vanced can actually block YouTube short stories that make some people annoying and also sponsored clip in the video itself.

Skips Sponsered clips on Video

The best thing I found on Vanced will be the ability to skip sponsored content, intro and outro of the video itself. The new settings will let you automatically skip the portion of the video that contains sponsored content, Intro, outro, or any subscriber request from the creator.

Google recently made a couple of changes to its YouTube app that brings new shorts ( similar to TikTok Videos ) and also added a new big create-button in the center that annoys me most of the times. I recently found a new setting on YouTube vanced app that helps you to get rid of these YouTube sponsored content ads, YouTube shorts, and a new create button. I Genuinely don’t recommend Vanced app because it really hurts creator revenue and also might bring a few security concerns. You can follow the below tutorial to get started with YouTube vanced.
