The popular private messaging app, WhatsApp has added new Voice status in the recent update. Users will be able to post a voice note of up to 30 seconds alongside text status updates. Just like in a WhatsApp chat, the microphone icon will appear on the bottom right screen which you can use to share voice Status.
With the new voice posts feature you can post a voice note of up to 30 seconds along with a text. The Voice Statuses will be end-to-end encrypted and will be shown to people you will choose based on your privacy settings. You cannot directly upload audio to WhatsApp.

- Once you are in go to the status tab and click on the microphone below and start recording your voice message.
- You can post up to 30 seconds of voice message status. Once completed you can tap on the paper icon at the bottom to send voice status.
- If you want to hide your Status for a 3specific set of people you can use the privacy controls below.
